About Us

At Lingtelligence, we specialize in forensic linguistic consulting for legal, investigative, and corporate contexts. We apply the scientific analysis of language to questions involving authorship, threatening communications, disputed meanings, language crimes, and other forms of linguistic evidence.

Our work supports investigators, corporate clients, and legal professionals who require clear, evidence-based insight into written or spoken communication. We conduct detailed linguistic analyses, prepare expert reports, and provide consultation tailored to the specific needs of each case. In addition to casework, we also offer seminars and training programs on forensic linguistic topics for law enforcement agencies, legal professionals, and corporate clients.

We believe that language evidence deserves the same careful and methodical treatment as any other form of forensic evidence. Our approach combines scientific rigor with practical understanding, ensuring that analyses are transparent, reliable, and clearly communicated. We aim to provide clients with actionable insight grounded in established linguistic methods.

Based in Germany, we provide services internationally in both English and German. We work closely with clients to tailor our services to their needs and collaborate with other specialists when cases require interdisciplinary expertise.

Our values are rooted in accuracy, ethics, and a commitment to improving justice and decision-making through careful language analysis. Every case is approached with professionalism, discretion, and attention to the specific context and goals of the client.

About Me

Dr. Kira Kasperek is a forensic linguist with experience in threat assessment, authorship analysis, and the investigation of language crimes. Her work sits at the intersection of linguistics, criminology, and law, with a particular focus on applying linguistic methods to investigative and risk assessment contexts.

She holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics from the University of Birmingham and a Master’s degree in Forensic Linguistics from Hofstra University. Her doctoral research focused on threat assessment and targeted violence prevention, combining discourse and corpus analytic methods to identify linguistic patterns and map them onto the warning signs in risk assessment tools to aid investigators.

During her training, she completed an Expert Witness Internship focused on expert testimony and evidentiary standards within the US legal system, including the qualifying under Daubert and Frye standards. She also worked on cases through the Hofstra Forensic Linguistics Justice Project and later contributed to complex criminal and civil investigations through work with Robert Leonard Associates.

Her professional experience includes comparative authorship analysis, linguistic profiling, OSINT-supported investigations, and the analysis of anonymous and threatening communications. In one investigation, she contributed to a linguistic analysis that helped investigators identify and apprehend a serial killer in the United States. In another, she conducted linguistic and open-source analysis of anonymous online accounts involved in the harassment of trafficking victims.

Alongside analytical expertise, Dr. Kasperek strives to make complex linguistic findings accessible and understandable to clients, investigators, and courts. She works collaboratively across disciplines and brings both academic rigor and practical investigative insight to every case.
